Dynamic Aviation will invest $4.1 million to expand its facility at Bridgewater Airport in Rockingham County. The project will create 206 new jobs, including avionics technicians, airframe technicians, engine repair technicians and electricians. Virginia successfully competed against Maryland, Oklahoma and West Virginia for the project.

Dynamic Aviation is the leading provider of leased and operated Beechcraft King Airs throughout the world. The company routinely provides aircraft to accomplish a variety of missions and customers include federal, state and local governments, non-profit research organizations, and private corporations.

Headquartered in Bridgewater, Dynamic Aviation operates additional facilities in California, Florida, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.

“For many reasons, Virginia is an outstanding place to call home,” said Michael Stoltzfus, President and COO of Dynamic Aviation. “The combination of the beauty of the Shenandoah Valley, the work ethic found in Virginia, the focus of state and local government on economic development and the proximity to a growing customer base convinced us that the right place to grow was here in the Shenandoah Valley.”

The Virginia Economic Development Partnership worked with Rockingham County and the Shenandoah Valley Partnership to secure the project for Virginia. The Virginia Department of Business Assistance will provide training assistance through its Workforce Services Jobs Investment Program.
