Wisconsin Gov. Jim Doyle recently announced that Regal-Beloit Corp. (RBC) of Beloit will receive a $500,000 loan from the Department of Commerce to assist with a $5 million investment to establish a training center at its Beloit headquarters.
"The opportunity to expand our operations in Beloit, add a world-class training center, and create jobs is a testament to our employees and shareholders as we focus on creating the world's number-one supplier of electrical motion control and power generation products," said RBC President and CEO Henry Knueppel.
RBC is a leading manufacturer of mechanical and electrical motion control and power generation products serving markets throughout the world. RBC has manufacturing, sales and service facilities throughout North America and in Mexico, Europe and Asia. It also has a significant manufacturing presence in Wisconsin with facilities in Wausau, Neillsville, Black River Falls, Grafton, Union Grove, Shopiere, and the corporate headquarters in Beloit.
