IGI announced the relocation and expansion of their Vancouver, Wash., corporate offices. IGI manufactures specialty engineered products to a large variety of customers in the OEM and MRO markets.
Originally founded in 1962 as a gasket manufacturer, IGI has developed into a national manufacturer of specialty engineered products used in aerospace, medical national security, high tech electronics. IGI is a 2nd generation, family-owned business operating manufacturing plants in Portland, Seattle, Denver and Salt Lake City.
“We decided to move the entire facility team from our Wilsonville, Ore. location to new facilities in Vancouver because of its easy access to the airport and both main freeways, attractive lease rates and what we consider to be forward thinking civic leaders,” said Mike Smith, president of IGI. “The beautiful location along with the affordability of doing business here makes staying in Vancouver a logical option.”
The new expanded offices opened on October 1 and will be the home of the corporate executive management team and the facility administration group, which are moving up from IGI’s Wilsonville, Ore., facility.
