Talley Communications Corp., a leading distributor in wireless communications infrastructure and mobile products, announced it will locate to the Sacramento Region. The company was founded in 1983 and is a privately-held family owned company.

Based in Santa Fe Springs, Calif., Talley Communications provides products from more than 100 leading manufacturers and has five distribution centers across the United States, including Seattle, Phoenix, Kansas City, Hayward and Santa Fe Springs, Calif.

The company expects to relocate its Bay Area/Hayward facility to two 20,000 square feet buildings at 11280 and 11288 Pyrites Way, in Gold River, Sacramento County this fall. Expected employment in the region is set to begin at around 20, while the company overall employs 150.

An existing and strong customer base in the Sacramento Region was a significant reason for the company’s decision to move from Hayward. In addition, the quality of life enjoyed here and relatively lower cost of housing, compared to the Bay Area, was a big motivator, according to the company.

“We are pleased that we’ve retained almost every employee in our Hayward facility by relocating to the Sacramento Region,” said John D. Talley, vice president with Talley Communications. “That says a lot for our employees, our company, and the Sacramento Region.”

The project originated with CB Richard Ellis, which is handling the commercial real estate transaction. They contacted SACTO to help connect the company with the resources, information and key players to make their move into the community.
