Encover Inc., a rapidly growing services company headquartered in Silicon Valley, selected Utah as the location to add its third sales center, complementing two other centers located in California and Ireland. The company specializes in helping manufacturers and their channel partners maximize service contract revenues, and serves customers such as Juniper Networks, Kodak, and Xerox.

The Utah sales center will initially support up to 100 sales professionals, selling service agreements ranging in price from a few hundred dollars up to a million dollars.

"Encover is committed to building the most powerful services marketing and sales force on the planet," said John Purvis, executive vice president of Worldwide Field Operations for Encover. "In response to tremendous customer demand for Encover solutions, we chose Utah for a major expansion of our marketing and sales capacity."

John Candiloro, Encover Inside Sales Director who relocated from Silicon Valley to Salt Lake City to lead a large part of the new sales organization added, "the Salt Lake City region is loaded with bright, enthusiastic, college-educated sales professionals who are drawn to the challenges and rewards of helping companies sell services."

"Utah's labor pool is a great asset for any company, and we will be helping Encover tap into the many resources the state has to offer as it continues its rapid expansion,” said Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman.
