Teleflex Medical has leased 303,815 square foot in the Haslet section of AllianceTexas. Teleflex, a global supplier of medical devices, surgical instruments and disposable medical products. The company will serve the respiratory market in the Southwest United States from the facility.
“AllianceTexas provides Teleflex Medical with a high-quality building in Haslet that has access to major highways,” said James Pino, director of logistics and distribution, Teleflex Medical. “They also have a placement agency that has helped us find employees for this new facility. Overall, Alliance has been competitively priced and easy to work with.”
Teleflex Medical will employ 45 workers in its AllianceTexas facility to support Hudson RCI, its respiratory products business unit. Pino says that the company currently intends to move other Teleflex Medical products into this distribution center.
“We don’t have definite plans at this time, but we would like to take advantage of Haslet’s central location,” said Pino.
Teleflex Medical is among a growing number of pharmaceutical and medical product distributors that have established major facilities at AllianceTexas. In all, Hillwood has leased 2,553,742 square feet at AllianceTexas in 2005. In addition to Teleflex, major leases completed this year include 375,000 square feet to ATC Logistics, 200,000 square feet to IDC and 240,237 square feet to Triangle Logistics.

In July 2004, the company completed the acquisition of Hudson Respiratory Care, a leading U.S. respiratory care products supplier
