The company plans to break ground on the new 700,000 square foot production facility in the second quarter of 2005. KraftMaid will employ about 1,300 workers at the $106 million facility.
Workers will eventually produce about 6,000 cabinets daily when manufacturing is at full capacity. Production for all western-based KraftMaid products will begin at the new facility in the next year.
