The computer services company, which specializes in consulting, systems integration and outsourcing, is establishing a $208 million facility over the next five years in Montreal's E-Commerce Place. CSC plans to eventually employ 280 IT professionals.

Additionally, the company will open a remote operations support center in Montreal that will be home to more than 300 customer analysts who will provide technical support for the entire North American market.

CSC has signed a 10-year lease and will receive attractive tax credits and tax holidays.

"It was a highly strategic decision for us to pinpoint Quebec for this major investment, which represents $30 million in the first two years," said Kevin Gaulin, president, Applications Service Division, Technology Management Group, CSC. "Quebec's educated work force was a definite criterion in our choice to locate here. The quality of our services demands real brainpower."
