Detroit Diesel Remanufacturing is Guernsey County's largest employer.
In addition, the March Electric plant of Lamb Electric, a division of AMETEK, is a manufacturer of vacuum motors. More than one-third of its production is bound for offshore manufacturers in Europe and the Far East.

Besides being located at the intersection of interstates 70 and 77, Cambridge offers excellent rail service and a municipal airport that runs parallel to the city's I-70/77 Business Park.

While the park is almost completely built out, the new D.O. Hall Business Center encompasses 149 acres of level land that is well outside the flood plain. Both sites are offered through the Community Industrial Association and are competitively priced.
