EXPO REAL Breaks Records
The international property market was alive and well at EXPO REAL in Munich last month. The trade fair and conference set an all-time record of 21,112 visitors, a 20% increase over 2005. This was in addition to exhibitors and their staffs. There were 1,638 exhibitors from 40 different countries, an increase of 15% over last year. According to the final report, economic development regions and municipalities formed the largest percentage (31%) of exhibitors. Among visitors, corporate real estate management and property operators represented the largest contingency (28%). And, the UK publication Property Week reported that more than 1.5 (nearly $2 trillion) in transactions were reported during the show. |
